Video glitches when watching on phone
Reset the TikTok app cache, then reopen the video. Cached playback can keep showing a broken version even after the upload is fine.
Issue guide
Most problems come from TikTok cache or files that are heavier than TikTok Studio likes to handle.
Recommended export before upload
These are warnings, not upload blocks. Smaller files usually load faster in TikTok Studio and play smoother on phones.
Reset the TikTok app cache, then reopen the video. Cached playback can keep showing a broken version even after the upload is fine.
Export the video at 1080x1920 or lower, keep the bitrate around 20 Mbps or lower, keep the final file under 50 MB when you want smoother phone playback, and avoid Alpha + RGB exports for uploads meant to play on phones.
If the upload is just moving slowly, that can be normal depending on your internet speed. If it fully freezes, refresh TikTok Studio, log back in if it asks, disable any other method extensions, and choose the patched file again.
Use MP4, MOV, or M4V from a desktop browser. Avoid odd export containers, renamed project files, or files that are still being written by your editor.
